STONE HARBOR - The Garden Club will a "Mini" flower show at the Lutheran Home, Route 9, Ocean View, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28. The program will be under the direction of a committee consisting of Mrs James Owings, Miss Alberto Riva, Mrs. Gerald Stump and Mrs. Raymond King. VARIOUS CLASSES of entries are proposed: House plants, flowering or foliage; container gardens, gerrariums, hanging baskets, forced bulbs, fresh flower arrangements, dried flower arrangements, impressionistic class, and miniatures. First, second and third place ribbons will be
awarded in all classes. Judging of all entries will be made between 11 a m. and noon by the judges of the show, Mr. and Mrs. John Holland of Ocean View, and Mrs. Sergeant Lea of the Avalon Garden Club. A drawing for the fresh flower arrangements will be held for the residents of the home. Entry blanks and rules may be obtained from any committee member.
