DENNIS TWP - Ray* mood W, Adams of Eldora has been elected as the 1981 Ruritan Governor of Zone 4 which includes ail Ruritan Clubs In New Jersey He is a charter member and past president, of the Dennis Township Ruritan Club. The Ruritan National civic and service clubs were first organized in Virginia in 1928 and have spread to over 40 states in the U S. The main goal of Ruritan is community improvement through service programs.

IN HI8' NEW^Capacity, Adams will be responsible for coordinating the activities of Ruritan Clubs in New Jeney. He will visit each club twice in the coming year. He will repprt directly to Ruritan District Governor Hank Dias,whose responsibilities include all Ruritan Clubs in Delaware, Maryland, and New

Jersey.

Adams is a partner in the J & R Print Shop in Cape May Court House and resides with his wife Bobbi

in Eldora.

.County Emergency Vehicle Driving Azademy. THE TRAINING program, which includes instruction in skid control, evasive maneuvers, prusuit driving tactics and felony vehicle traffic stops, has been in operation at the County Airpoort since 1975 and has accounted for up to a 50 per cent reduction in police accidents among departments who have received the training. The purpose of the instructor school is to afford training at the academy due io budgetary or travelling restrictions, according to academy director Ron Judyski. "The officers will be prepared to conduct their own in-service driver training program' and share in the accident induction potential without the expense of travelling and overtime,'’judyski
