Think spring! Indeed yes! It’s now March, officially. happily 1 , delightful- # ly so, and not a moment too soon for us. We're ready for it! Are you? (Of course you are!) We have a few thoughts on the mpnth of March. We've, been hungry for a few bfr^ songs and we’re starting\ to hear them again. It's giving a lift to our spirits; they set our thoughts soaring to the coming warm months, to the beautiful time of year just ahead. WE SAW THE first crocuses the other day and they left us reeling. The world of nature is waking up again; even some folks we know from around these parts. As the Earth rolls along in its path around the sun, our part of it is getting a little more of the sun's light and heat each day. In a couple of weeks the Earth's position will be such that the sun’s light will just reach the two poles of the Earth, both the north pole and the South Pole. IF WE COULD just stand still in our path where we’ll be at that time we’d have
as many hours of darkness as sunlight each day. That would give us perpetual spring. But who would want to do that? Seems the way things have been designed, we jifat gotta keep moving up; each thing in its season, each moment leading toward another. ENJOY DAILY lunch & dinner specials by the Pilot House fireplace! In spite of the springlike weather, there’s still 1 , nippy days.« ahead, and th^ Pilot House, on the Mall in Cape May at 142 Decatur St. is just about the coziest place anywhere to spend an hour or two. Not just a cozy atmosphere awaits you here, but delicious food to whet your appetite. The lunch and dinner specials, served daily, are well worth looking into. You’ll enjoy the hospitable help who will see to it that you are generously served with excellent food, but that your beverage orders are made just the way you wish. TASTY SNACKS await you at the one & only Texas (Page 21 Please)
