WILDWOOD - "World Hunger" has always been on the priority list of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Wildwood, and Lent is a time when an extra accent is given to the subject. In recent years the Social Ministry Committee of the church designed a "Food For Thought" program, which is conducted each Wednesday evening in
Lent.
"FOR FOR THOUGHT" consists of a meal and an educational discussion. A free will offering is taken to cover the cost and the excess offering goes to the World Hunger Appeal. The discussion deals with hunger, waste and what Christians and responsible citizens should be doing about it. THIS YEAR’S program deals with "Economic Justice". Pamphlets are inserted in the church's weekly newsletter each Sunday in Lent. They deal with topics like "I am what I own”, "I am Blessed", "I am Love”, "I am Independent”, and "I am Unlimited." Then at the "Food for Thought" pro-

Expansion Planned
SEA ISLE CITY - The i United Methodist Church has launched an expansion program to increase the size of the present church building on Kennedy Boulevard, and to help make better use of the existing facilities through remodeling, according to the pastor. Rev. Jerry Ruff. The expansion program is slated to cost $181,000 and covers many projects in the rapidly growing church. The proposed new addition will include new class rooms, a storage room, an air court and a ramp for the handicapped. REMODELING PLANS include relocation and
enlargement of the pastor's study, the secretary’s room, the nursery, the choir’s multi-pufyose robe room and rest rooms. Also included in the building program is a new roof for the chrfrch. John Cavicchio has been named building committee chaindan and is working on plans to raise the necessary funds, in order that the project might be completed without a mortgage. Pastor Ruff, in announcing the expansion, titled the project "ForwSrd In Faith" and hopes the entire project will be completed, mortgage free, in time for the church's 100th anniversary in 1083.

COLD SPRINGS - There will be a seminar at The Church of Jessus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jonathan Hoffman Road, here, Friday, March 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. What to store, dehydrating foods, using wheat, gardening, storing water, and sprouting. Larry Newbold, County Agricultural Extension Agent, will be showing films on gardening and will give advice on specific problems of gardening in this area: THE SEMINAR should
be of interest to anyone who is interested in combating inflation by storing and/or growing food. It has been said that stored food is better than money in the bank in times of inflation. According to D. Delos Ellsworth, director of the Ezra Taft Benson Agricultural Institute at Brigham Young University, a more important argument of storing food is that a supply of food comes in very handy in times of emergency - whether it be war, an earthquake, a flood, a volcanic eruption,
