What's that funny looking halo around your head? Ha. ha! April fool's! Thought we’d take you by surprise just to see if you're on to what today is. Nevertheless, now that we’ve tried it on you, you should go and try to fool someone else. If you haven’t already, that’s the way All Fool’s Day works, you know. Kind of like a chain letter. You have to keep it going. We’ve always enjoyed All Fool’s Day, beginning way back when we were scho' 0 kids and liked to try and iOOl the teachers. It was easier to fool our friends. The teachers were on to us and ready for our wit. Bits of color are starting to dot our landscape. That green stuff is starting to appear on our lawns. You know what that means, don’t you? Mowing time is not far away. Well, on to more pleasant subjects. The birds are winging their way back. Nestbuilding in progress too. Wonderful time of year, isn’t it? EXCUSE US, BUT THE HOF BRAU IS A RESTAURANT TO RAVE ABOUT. The Hof Brau, at the corner of Oak & Pacific Aves., Wildwoods is noted as the meeting place for lunch in the Wildwoods. (Of course, it’s also a great dinner place.) Many businessmen and organizations find the Hof Brau specialties outstanding in every way, and the service is considered most attentive. Some of the enjoyable gourmet delights served at lunch time include chopped
chicken liver, sliced onion, bacon & tomato on a roll, rye or bagel, or the lox and cream cheese on your favorite bread. The atmosphere is always relaxed and comfortable, and you’ll feel most welcome. DUE TO TREMENDOUS CUSTOMER RESPONSE. THE D’CONTINENTAL it LOUNGE RESTAURANT continues to serve 1U dual menu. Whether your taste goes toward Chinese or American food, the menu at D’Continental will be sure to please you. (Or maybe you enjoy both kinds of food, and want to go Chinese one night & American another night.) Since the D’Continental at Walnut At N. Jersey Ave., North Wildwood started its Two Great Cuisines policy, customers have been flocking here to enjoy the special foods. Enjoy the dual menu Wednesday through Sunday; on Friday At Saturday nights Vincent Charles entertains with his one man band. By all means, the D’Continental is well worth investigating with your favorite people. PLANNING A SPECIAL EVENT? THEN BY ALL MEANS. TELEPHONE THE TEXAS AVE. MARKET’S Catering Department. If you’ve got a special event coming up, the Texas Ave. Food Market can provide party trays, hot Ac cold entrees, finger food, luncheon specials, buffet, cocktail party or sit down service (including china, silverware Ac service). Food trays include canapes, tea (Page 21 Please)
