April, April thou art so beautiful! You’ll have to forgive us for feeling poetlike, but April does this to the spirit. What a month! Just about perfect in our book. Some of our favorite people were bom In April: Harry Houdini the great magician was bom April 6, Thomas Jefferson on the 13th, and William Shakespeare on the 23rd. Three wonderful guys. Here’s another interesting date in April coming up this very day. The Spanish explorer Ponce de Leon : , looking for the Fountain of Youth, landed in Florida on the 8th of April. W,e know quite a few people who are still out there looking for it. PALM SUNDAY coming up this week and do we have to remind you the following Sunday is Easter? Easter, Passover and the full moon coincide on the 19th, considered a rare occurrence. We like to think this is a good omen for the brotherhood of man and nature. Are you listening to the birdies these days? Their sweet songs are one of the joys of April. Keep listening, keep watching as April unfolds. You’re going to be loving it all. • • • THE MERION INN opens this weekend!
