Campaign Promotes Clean Air for S.J.

of pollution an hour, Mrs. Ross said that any weakening of the Clegn Air Act standards or deadlines could have a deleterious effect on the health of district residents by increasing the amounts of pollution they breathe. Mrs. Rom said that although coastal resorts are known for their "pure air," they are becoming increasingly unhealthy. The ozone levels in Atlantic City and in Toms River, for instance, from April to September 1980, exceeded satisfactory standards. Also South Jersey receives sulfate poilulion (acid rain) from sources as far away as Ohio's coal-burning power plants, she noted.

COURT HOUSE - In recognition of Nutrition Month, Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital sponsored an open seminar for the community and local health care

professionals.

"Take Control of Your Weight" was the focal point in the program presented by the hospital's Dietary and Inservice Education Departments in response to community interest. The first presentation was delivered by Alison Brink, M.S., R.N., a clinical dietician and educator in bahavior modification

techniques.

Easter Egg Hunt CAPE MAY - The Chamber of Commerce will again be delighting area families during the Easter HoUday with their Egg Hunt and Easter Stroll. Beginning at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18, an Easter Egg Hunt will be conducted at the Elementary School playing field on Lafayette Street. BOYS AND GIRLS 10 years old and under will be thrilled by the presence of the Easter Bunny as they, hunt frantically for the hidden eggs, some of which they will be able to redeem for prizes. Easter Sunday, April 19th, on the Washington MaU the Easter Stroll will begin at 1 p.m. A variety of best-dressd categories will be judged with the winners earning prizes. If inclement weather should prevail all activities will be transferred to Convention Hall.
