Deapite information from a reliable source, the report in last week's News Notes from the Wildwoods column about Duffinetti’s becoming a Chinese restaurant was Incorrect. • • • An item in last week's News Notes from the Wildwoods column listed Edward McCall as among the Commission candidates in Wildwood Crest. The correct name is Frank McCall.■ Other candidates for the May 12 election included Art Schard, and incumbents Charles Guhr, John Pantalone and Louis Del Conte.

Society Slates Talk On Glass

COURT HOUSE - Guest speaker at the spring luncheon of the County Historical Society at noon Saturday. April 25, will be Donald Pettifer, director of collections at Wheaton •Village. Pettifer will present a

slide program on "American Glass" at the luncheon, to be held at the Corbin House. U.S. Highway 50, Corbin City.' Reservations should be in to the museum by April 15.

USS Bremerton at Groton, Conn. Carroll, a graduate of Middle Twp. schools is married to Jolyn Carter Carroll. He has been attached to the Bremerton since April 1979. The submarine is equipped to fire the harpoon antisubmarine rocket and the Mark 48 torpedo. Carrying a crew of 12 officers and 116 enlisted men, will be based in Pearl Harbor after a shakedown cruise. Secretaries Will Elect WILDWOOD — The Cape May County Legal Secretaries Asociation will hold its April meeUng at 7 p.m. April 21, at Neil’s Steak and Oyster House, here. On the agenda will be the election of officers for the 1981-82 term and a drawing, with the prize being a $200 gift certificate. All proceeds go into the association's scholarship fund.
