McBrides Plan 50-Year Fete RIO GRANDE - Hugh and Rebecca McBride, of the Florida Motor Courts here, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a Mass at Our Lady of the Angels. Court House. Following will be a reception at the Anglesea Moose Lodge, North Wildwood, of which they are members. the McBrides. originally from the Fairmount Park section of Philadelphia, have lived here for the past seven years since his retirement from Acme. They have six sons, 20 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Heart Assn. Rose Sale The South Jersey Shore Council of the American Heart Association will hold its fourth annual ‘‘Roses for Mother” sale May 7, 8. and 9, throughout Atlantic and Cape May counties. The South Jersey Shore Council, part of the new Southern New Jersey Chapter, will sell artificial wood pulp roses that are scented with rose oil. Proceeds will go to the AHA. THE ROSES WILL be sold outside Steinbach’s in the Shore Mall, Pleasantville, from 10 a.m. until dosing on May 7. 8. and 9. They also will be available throughout Atlantic and Cape May counties on the same three dates, and on the Ocean City Boardwalk on May 9. Roxanna Vallaster, secretary of the Southern New Jersey Chapter, is chairman of the sale. Atlantic and Cape May counties 1 last fall merged with Camden* Burlington. Gloucester, Salem and Cumberland to form the new chapter. The South Jersey Shore Council is still located in PleasantviUe.
