OCEAN CITY - Friday through June 3. Rockford Gallery. 406 Aabury Ave., will show photographs by Charles A. Nailielll. Nailie is an artist who is known for his oil painting as well as his black and white and color photograph. While in the service, Nailie worked in tlje photo strafk at the Bunker Hill A F.B . where he first learned the use of the camera and dark room He has also attended the New York Institute of Photography and many seminars/ BOTH NAILIE'S parents are artists; his mother is a poetress and writer, and his father has done work as a commercial artist, so his entire life has been involv-
ed with att. While attending the high school he graduated frcftn in Hawaii, he was selling much of the art he exhibited, and at the Bunker Hill A.F.B. was commissioned to do a painting of B-58 bombers fop.the Air Force. Photography tates up most of Nailie's tim* and though he enjoys doiAfe portraits and weddings, he finds it most exciting and challenging looking for those candid moments in time when in photographing people or animals the artist finds somlthing special. There will be a reception for the artist from 8 to 10 p m Saturday at the Gallery The pubflc is invited.
