He is well remembered for his address to the local Navy League at Neil’s Steak and Oyster House. The late a^r Paul Douglas, broke into show business as radjo’s "velvetvoiced announcer.” Douglas started out as a Wildwood lifeguard. A worthy successor to him with the "velvet-voiced" diadem, is the Crest’s Bill Huff who labors at WWOC, Avalon. LORI CESAR and J.C. Lane. Wildwood’s native singing sisters, now appearing with their trio at Midtown Lounge, are thrilled over the success of their long time pal, Pia Zadora. F»ia’s starring in the new movie "Butterfly” with Stacey Keacb. She’s now making "Fake-Out" with co-stars Desi Arnaz Jr. and Telly Savalas. When Pia appears in Atlantic City, Lori shares her suite as they recall memories of their childhood as Broadway stage stars. Pia’s also a regular on "Hollywood Squares," which originates from the hotel owned by her multi-millionnaire husband Musalum Rikktis, the Riviera. Wildwood's very own girls mud wrestling troupe made an auspicious local debut over the weekend at Grande’s. TV-pop singing star Bobby Rydell would have been proud of his longtime pal Frank Ricco, of Ricco's Market who served as referee for the chocolate rollers, sweet ’HI mud pies. He was aided and abetted by another local lad, Wayne Mueller. Both commentators were ceremoniously dunked in the mud pit for their itoble efforts.
