The final meeting of the club will be a Spring Luncheon at the Mad Batter, Thursday, May 21. To Hear Appeal AVALON — Borough Council will conduct a public hearing 1 p.m., May 21 on the appeal of Harry W. Rudolph to review the action of the local Planning Board in denying the minor subdivision and variance of five lots on Block 26.01.
Rowland serving for the firdt time. Second vice-president is Dottie Stump, who served part time as president following the death of this year’s president. Mrs. Stump also serves as president of the Women's Civic Club. Treasurer is Mrs. Charlotte Ruth Fisher who has been chairlady for the Tours and Trips committee. Secretary-elect is Mrs. Vemis Pilert, who served as president in 1978. Spe was the first lady president of the group. Following the elections the group saw a colored slide presentation on the Pine Barrens presented by Mr. Joseph Lomax. Over 100 members attend the meeting and were treated to refreshments served by hostesses Marguerite Klotzbucher, Cass Schettingcr, Thelma Groves, Lenora Stow, Amelia Guerrazzi and Marcel DeLaurentis.
