THE CAPE MAY County '•Gems ’, a group of dedicated women, sponsored their second ghnual bus trip for * chUdren of the Cape May CouWty area. The trip to Stocktofttollegc was free and was Intended to introduce cultural activities to the young people The Dance Concert by Stockton performers was enjoyed by all. Then a trip to MacDonald's for rMreshmenta climaxed the evening. This event was chaired by Desxle Baker of SWainton assisted by Ells Foster of Woodbine, Dorothy Robertson of Cape May Court Hou»e, Nadine Anderson of Court House, Florence Wise of West Cape May and Virginia Coleman of Whitesboro. • • • AGE IN ACTION SUNDAY _ a celebration of generations took place May 3 at the Episcopal Church of the Advent. Many of the parishioners came in costume: BeltyiMMull, Mr. Mrs. Raymond CTillahan. and Edith Lemmon all in Colonial attire 1 , and Mrs. Reginald Brown dressed Victorian. Under the direction of Lee Dawson, the church school children decorated a Jesse Tree with figures and symbols of Biblical times. The Tree will remain permanently at the Episcopal Church of the Advent where everyone can view it seeing the beginning of Biblical times up to the present day. Following this inspiring event a brunch was served in the Parish Hall under the able chairmanship of Katherine (Casey) Bennett.

AGE IN ACTION memorable affair was under the general supervision of chairperson. Mrs. Reginald, Brown assisted by Mr. & Mnn Raymond Callahan. Committee members were Miss Lee Dawson. Reginald Brown, also Rev. Robert M. Kahl honorary chairperson. Mr. St Mrs. Robert Steger are to be commended too for their help in supplying museum pieces and memorabilis for this very interesting program. * • .6 . NOW'S THE TIME to have fun outdoors, says Charles Seppy who along with his wife Jane, daughters Kimberly. 5, and Lindsey. 1, are having lots of good times setting up their outdoor grill. • • • Marge Griffin along with her hubby are satisfied to sit and watch the boats go along the ocean while their camera takes so many good shots of the cruisers. • • • TALK ABOUT BOATS. 23-year-old David Roseman took the 100 ft. fishing vessel, "Neptune" owned by the Stotts family ... down through the Panama Canal to Alaska — just fishing for scallops. His oulv help was Billy John* mate, and Billy Bright, deck hand. That's a heap of courage says mom Joan Roseman of Cape May.

May 24, Mansions by gaslight, a delightful house tour highlighting Victorian architecture. Kehner To Wed SEA ISLE CITY - Commissioner William J. Kehner and Miss Cheryl Christine Klvlin will become roan aiid wife in a private ceremony here Saturday. May 30. The ceremony will be held in the city's Public Safety Building, where Commissioner Kehner headed the Department of Public Safety for nearly four years. Mayor Dominic C. Raffa will preside at the ceremony.
