he anewered immediately "to challenge people to think out their Christian faith!" . J A highly knowledgeable man-he rounded out Ma education for the priesthood by atudytag for three years In Paris and In Rome He also "aneka to put religious and moral issues in perspective, especially In historical perspective, and to bring news of interest to all Christians and...Touch on their concern* as Chris-

tuns.”

Today will be hi* 14th broadcast. It is funded by the generosity (or more likely gratitude) of his listeners. We do hope he soo* finds a civic-minded sponsor who will be Interested in furthering this extremely intellectual and compassionate man in his quest of “challenging people to think and to be think-

ing Christians.”

LET'S FACE IT. this writer like everyone else, is not getting any younger but unlike most of you we haad a good head start. Therefore, when her spouse suggested having some people in for cockUils (his annual ploy for getting the house clean-

ed) she panicked.

He is a whizi at arithmetic and instantly calculated thei difference between paying for a shrink or a caterer and it was enormous. He sensibly suggested the caterer and the result was delicious bor d’oevres rather than his wife’s peanut butter and jelly delights and and a

care free party.

WE DARE TO say “delicious” immodestly only because we have had at least twelve requests for Ihe young lady's name and phorte number and not because she’s adorable looking either. If you dig great party food without any hassle call us and we’ll

tell you.

We also ordered sandwich platters from our excellent and local Party Time in case of a car breakdown en route, and they disappeared before we got back to check the table. That meant there were many esoteric delectables for us to enjoy so our freezer will be stocked for a less organized evening, with very few guests, next time our old man wants the

house dusted.
