STONE HARBOR — Picture the sets on those popular tv situation comedies—Ozziwand Harriet, Father Knows Best. My Three Sons... Recall those rooms where everything was neat and perfect, even though the family had at least two kids? Remember thinking that no one lives like that; that it’s only on tv and in the magazines! Well, we’re all wrong. There are such places in real life — homes that are lived in but always picture perfect. The home of Robert T. and Joselyn Otton Rich at 10410 Sunset Drive here proves it. Their two-ycar-oid twin-gabled neo-Victorian home is lived in and loved by the entire family — which includes four daughters: 10-year-oid Gwendolyn; 7-year-old Rebecca; 2-year-old Rachel Mary; and Lauren Alexandra, bom April 20. The Riches’ home, built by Lloyd “Pete” Pain of sBke Harbor, is of natural red cedar leveled clapboard and burgundy trim, with cedar shake roof and Andersen thermal pane windows (the interior of which are set off by floor length Constance Carroll curtains). While
Robert M. Wright of Toms River was the architect, Josee Rich basically designed her own home, overseeing its building, furnishing, and landscaping. "She made it something different, something special,’’ notes husband Bob. “New, yet with the charm of a time gone by.” Josee’s design was based upon a sketch she saw in a magazine, but she modified the structure to suit the needs of the Rich family (which also includes Toila, a 6-year-old Siberian husky; George, a 3-year-old gray cat; and Ralph, George’s 3-year-old brother). The home is situated on a “wooded" lot, and — as the name of their street inplies — the Riches do get at least a glimpse of the sunset as the sun dips down between other homes in the neat, respectable neighborhood. Besides its five bedrooms and 34 baths (including one between and adjoining the two oldest girls’ bedrooms), the home includes a living room with sunken solarium, formal dining room, pullman kitchen, family room with fireplace, utility room and laundry. The family room is
