Proposed Zoning Code Available

It took the local Planning Board some 2'* years «\ come up with a new comprehensive toning plar., and several weeks were needed for the governing body to wade thru its contents and make recommended changes. But copies of the new lAwcr Township toning ordinance, as officially introduced at the May 27 Township Committee meeting, will only be available to the public two

weeks before the proposal is scheduled for public hearing on June 22. Copies of the ordinance are lavailable from the township for $17. The planner also noted that the owners of these nonconforming lots have until June 30, 1962 to register their holdings with the township tax assessor. OTHER CHANGES in the ordinance include the addition of the district regulations for the newly created Residential Business Zone. This zorte has been designated aloag Rt. 9 and Seashore Kd. from the Spirit of 76 to the Lake Laurie Campground. The regulations specify the permitted uses in the area, including such specifics as required lot size and parking requirements. An addition has also been provided to allow for boal launching ramps to be recognized as a permitted use in the marine development and marine general business zones.

Night Course In Sociology

COURT HOUSE-Allan-tic Community College will offer an eight-week evening course in the county, beginning June 22.
