COZY MORLEY helped roast Ed Hurst on his 35th tv anniversary last night at Palumbo’s. Like Dick Clark. Hurst hosted Wildwood record hops for many seasons. Frankie Avalon and Pat Cooper also helped the Variety Club roast for Hurst. Pat Cooper, who just made his first movie, is due poolside at Holiday Inn to join his old friend, Joe Day. Ed Hurst is hosting an Ocean City tv show this season. Bet you didn’t know Pat Cooper used to be a taxi driver and Frank’s soda truck jockey in Philly. He wanted $25,000 a week from Cozy Morley so Cozy decid-
ed to hire boo Cornell and Julie De John instead. HUNDREDS OF Wildwood young folks have found high paying jobs in the casinos, even though they aren’t especially fond of the Atlantic City environment. Among these are Jeanle A Rosemary Sicilia, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Sicilia.
