five flounders that were 2 to 3 Us. each, four blues, and a big weakfish. THE SOUTH JERSEY Fishing Center’s tournament wound up with 19 boats ffching. Fishing was done 25 miles off of Cape May at the 20 fathom line. ONE OF THESE windy days when you can’t fish, take a run over to Cold Spring Village where Dr. and Jerry Salvatore have restored 12 building with loving care, and brought the past into being. The two brothers are from the Wildwoods, and they have all authenic building on their grounds. I had lunch there Friday as a guest of Harold and Catherine Fox of Wildwood Crest, and the meal was delicious. Food is served buffet style in the old Cold Spring Grange hall, and that in itself is worth the trip. We walked around the grounds after lunch admiring the restoration, and found Jamie Hand of Rio Grande carving cedar

ducks in the David\Taylor shop. ) The Rio Grande trpin station, and the Woodbine Junction station are there, and John Finley’s blacksmith shop from Goshen is last on the tour. This was E. Finley Mixner’s grandfather, and he used to tell me how John made iron fittings for the great ship built and launched in Dennis Creek. Time stands still, and history is being preserved at Cold Spring Village. A tip of the Old Anglers hat to the Salvatorros, and all their workers. LAST MINUTE CATCHES OF NOTE.
