CAPE MAY - A special evangelistic meeting will be held on the lawn of Congress Hall at 8 p.m. July 4. Featured during the meeting will be messages by Dr. Carl Mclntire and Major Edgar C. Bundy. Also included will be special music by various soloists and vocal groups. Speaking at the Bible Conference from July 4-11 will be Major Bundy, ex ecutive secretary of the Church League of America, Wheaton. III. Bundy served in the U.S. Air Force Intelligence during World War II, serving in every major theatre of war. During this period he
received Nationalist China's highest aviation award and the Bronze Star medal from Major Gch. Clair Chennault. ' •. U.S. SEN. — Steve Symns iR-Idaho) will be speaking at 8 p.m. July 10 in the Gardner Memorial Auditorium at the Christian Admiral. Last November Symns led a successful campaign in defeating Sen Frank Church and in getting elected to the Senate. Services are held twice daily at the Christian Admiral, 10 a.m. and 8 p irn, Sunday School is held at 9:45 a.m. and Sunday Worship is at ^].
Summer Schedule In New Building
WILDWOOD CREST - The congregation at First United Methodist Church here begins their summer Sunday schedule on July 5th in the new building, the 6700 block bf Atlantic Avenue at Fern. Two similar services will be conducted at 8:30 and 11 a.m.,*with Sunday School Featured Speakers • CAPE MAY - Dr. Howard Carlson and Dr. Carl Mclntire are the featured speakers at the Cape May Bible Conference which began last Saturday and runs/through July 4. V— Dr. Carlson is a missionary to Israel under the Independent Board for Presbyterian Foreign Missions. He is presently on special assignment at Faith Theological Seminary, in Elkins Park, ,Pa., where he is heading the Tell Mardikh Center of Biblical Archaeology, and also teaching several courses. DR. McINTIRE IS the director of the Bible Conference, pastor of the 1',800-membei: Bible Presbyterian Church of Collingswood, and presi- , dent of the International Council of Christian Churches. Both have just returned from an extensive tour of the Holy Land, And will be giving first-hand accounts in their messages.
