Chamber Honors 6 Men

WILDWOOD - The Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, in recognition of their dedication and work throughout the years, made the following men honorary life members of the chamber: Louis Gould, Harold Fox, Albert Bailie, Russell Batten. Williafn Cole, and Kenneth Grace. Gould, owner of Gould Realty, was a charter member in 1934 and served

as the secretary. Fox was a charter member in 1934 and served as treasurer while operating his accounting business. Bailie, former owner of the Leader, was a trustee in 1938 and served as president in 1944. BATTEN REPRESENTED the Penn Ice Co. and was a trustee in 1938 as well as treasurer for several years. Grace, of Grace Oil, served as a trustee in 1938 Cole retired

as director of the Cape May . County Welfare Board He served as treasurer before becoming pLesident in 1953 and later became secretary. In other business it was reported that the new tourist booth in the main bus terminal will be open seven days. The main office will continue to offer full services to the business community.
