BAYSIDE VILLAGE — A burglary spiWhas taken place in the 200 bloBk of this housing development during the past couple of weekends; a criminal activity which authorities say is most unusual because usually the victims tore at home sleeping at the time. Also in all cases entry has been made thru unlocked rear glass doors in the late-night or early morning hours between Friday and Sunday. ■“It’s always late at night,” said police Lt. Charles Tho rnton "When they get up in the morning, they find they’ve been robbed.” According to the officer, there were three burglaries the previous weekend and two or three the past weekend. The smallest haul has been a little cash; ' the largest take included a color tv and homeycomputer

system. The Detective Bureau is working on the investigation, but no major leads were forthcoming as of earlier this week. %
