To Reenact Colonial Camp Life COLD SPRING - Historic ^ Cold Spring Village here will host a recreation of an 18th century military encampment by the Egg-Harbour Guard 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Formed in 1775 as the New Jersey 3rd Battalion, the original Quard took part in the American Revolution in the battles of Trenton, Princeton and Chestnut Neck. Today, the Egg-Harbour Guard presents a living history of the role of the common* man and woman during the revolutionary period.
