IT’S CALLED Katie Kraft, specializing in handcraft Custom-made gifts for the person who knows the difference. It all started in Kathleen McCormick k Monlchetti'» small' bedroom workshop. As the appliqiica specialty designs became known, it was necessary to^rhove to larger quarters in order to accommodate thA influx of customers' demands. By this time, Kdthleen (who is the Katie referred to above) needed help, whereupon RosemaryDrake. KatUfs sister, joined forces and together moved to their new quarters at 1382 Lafayette St. At present, both Katie and Roe (short for Rosemary) are busy getting their "Christmas ’81" line featuring Victorian Christmas items and some very interesting Fall specialties. Many of the local shops have some of, these very different quality pieces on consignment. SPECIAL APPEAL t* people of ‘ Dutch background, the Tulip Commission—currently making arrangements for the Captain M6y Celebration on September 25 and also for an added celebration in April 1982 — would like to include all people of Dutch background to.participate in these programs.
