ERMA - Noting that they act .upon his request with “dceiiest regrets." the Lower Cape May Regional Board of Edpcdtion voted unanimously August 18. to accept the resignation of boardmemher Harrison "Pete" Bitting In a letter addressed to .president Paul Lundbolm. Mr Bitting stated that he could not continue to serve on the board due to per sonal and business commitments. A LOWER Township resident and owner of Powell’s Electric Service on Breakwater Rd.. Erma, Mr Bitting was elected to the Board for a three year term in the spring of 1980. He had previously served for three years on the township's elementary school board. According to superintendent Ephraim Keller, the board must now by a majority vote appoint someone to fill the vacant seat until the next general school election is held in the spring of 1982. ^At elec-, tion time the voters will then have the chance to determine who will hold the
