r PR&CETON — Next year the sumpier invasion of the' Jersey shore will take an ( educational twist when courses in marine 'studies will be offered to working students by the New Jersey Marine Sciences Consortium at its Seaville marine field station. College credit courses, covering a general introduction to marine science and marine biology, Will be offered on early morning and evening schedules to accommodate college students working at the shore for the summer. A SPECIAL. FEATURE of the work/study program will give students an opportunity to use the dormitories at the Seaville station at low cost for the entire summer as long as they register for one or
more courses.
Work schedule permitting, students also will be able to consider taking some of the regular daytime courses involving more advanced marine science subjects. -THE CONSORTIUM is announcing its plans now,” said Dr. James Lanier, director of education programs, "to permit
students to plan ahead as they wind up their slimmer activities and begin to line up jobs and lodging for next year. New Jesey Marine Sciences Consortium, with executive offices in Princeton, New Jersey, is. a group of some two dozen colleges and universities that pool human and physical resources to promote the constructive development and use of marine resources for the benefit of the people of the State of New Jersey, contiguous areas and the nation. Field stations are maintained by the Consortium at Seaville in Cape May County and at Sandy Hook in Monmouth County.
Kelly given New Post
SOMERS POINT - Richard A. Pitman, Shore Memorial Hospital ex* ecutive vice president, lias announced UrS\ appointment of Willihm Kelly as assistant adrrijnistratdr. Kelly formerly held the title of personnel administrator at the nonprofit, community hospital. In addition to retaining administrative responsibilities in the personnel
department, Kelly, as assistant administrator, will oversee the function of four additional departments: housekeeping, dietary, maintenance and security. KELLY IS A graduate of Temple University with a B.S. in Business Administrative. He served six years as personnel director at Atlantic City Medical Center,✓fiv.e years as employee relations manager at Pacemaker Corp., seven years as assistant personnel manager at TRW Electronics and three years as personnel assistant at Progress Manufacturing Co. Kelly resides in Marmora with his wife, Doris, and two children. He as been associated with the hospital since April, 1976.

Meeting AVALON - The Stone Harbor-Avalon Branch of the Burdette Tpmlin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold its fii^t meeting of the 1981-82 term at noon Thursday, at Urie’s Restaurant, Wildwood. Following the business meeting T. Griffith Sloan, co-ordinator of the Avalon Office of Emergency Management, will give a talk on coastal storms and the precautions individuals can take.
