Photo Show By League CAPE MAY - County Art League is inviting area residents to enter their photographic work in the annual exhibit of photography to be held in November at the league galleries in the Carriage House at 1050 Washington

All work should be at the Carriage House no later than Tuesday. Nov. 3, and/ will be ready for return Tuesday. Dec. 3'. The League will accept sixphotographs from each exhibitor and wj[ll hang them all, space permitting. WORK MUSJ BE ready to hang, with screw eyes on framed pictures and hanging stickers on matted photographs. A card should be attached to the back of each photo with name and address, title of picture, and selling price, if for sale, or NFS, if not for sale. The show will open to the public on Saturday, Nov. 7. with a reception from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mrs. Helen Clark Dilday, the league's artist in residence, asks that all who wish to participate notify the league before Oct. 1 They may write to the Cape May County Art League, 1050 Washington St., PO Box 3%, Cape May, 08204, or telephone 884-8628 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturday's, and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. * \

String Concert The Deauville Inn, at Corson’s Inlet Bridge in Strathmere, will be the scene of a special benefit concert and show by The Sea Isle City String Band starting at 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. A donation will be asked, with funds going toward the newly formed string band’s uniform fund.
