‘Helping Hand' Plans'

SEA ISLE CITY - This is a “Helping Hand" City, and the program’s directors and interested citizens met recently to discuss the on-going projects and the achievement* of the program. The director^ agreed that the program is most effective, but could become even more so with publicity alerting visitors and residents about the project. One concerned parent asked Commissioner Bill Kehner about "the attractive nuisance" danger at

the community's many construction sites. Kehner noted that barriers which would make the areas inaccessible should be posted, and agreed to speak with ' area builders about it. He urged parents to warn their children that these construction sites are potentially dangerous play areas. Persons desiring additional information on the program -should call the •civilian co-ordinator at 263-8672, or the Public Safety Department at 263-4311.
