WE .WERE sick this week when we went into Party Time, the gourmet deli at 98th St. and Third Ave. to pick up. some of their frozen delicacies and fo’^id .most of the food cases gone and the rest being packed With the remaining food reduced frbm

20-50 percent off.

We talked to the owner or manager (we’re not sure which) and he told us that Party Time is closing permanently. As far as Ware concerned this is a realToke to the community; it’s catering facility was, well

run by capable, attractive and unfailingly pleasant, girls. AT ONE time a new hat could lift tfe most severe depressioR but at the seakhore, forget it! Now it’s Shoes that do the trick. Thus, on a recent gloomy day, with winds clocked at less than gale velocity we checked odt the Harbor Bodtery in the Gallerie.at 98th and 3rd Ave. owned by Emma Hafele (wife of Robert Hafele who manages the S. H. Branch of Marine National Bank). An awful lot of gals must have had the glums that day because the joint was jumping. 'Helen' Hill who works ther£, helped us choose from among a surprisingly large selection of boots, bags and shoes — all tres chic. We walked' out with three, noUthe one pair, of shoes we really needed. We felt almost frugal because the previous customer bought 5 pair. The Hafeles have been coming here since 1960 and became permanent residents in ‘73.
