Pledges Help; Thanks Workers MILLVILLE — Edward Salmon, the unsuccessful candidate for N.J. State Senate, has pledged his cooperation and help In working together with the newly elected first Legislative District officials. • ^ “My family and I deeply appreciate the volunteer efforts of our many campaign workers," the Millville bemocrat said in a statement Nov. 6. "Their support and friendship will always be remembered." ACCORDING TO the Cumberland County freeholder, "it was an honor to have the opportunity to be a candidate for N.J. State Senate." It was as a freeholder that Mr.. Salmon pledged his cooperation and help. He also singled out his opponent, the successful Senatorial candidate, Republican Assemblyman James Hurley, also of Millville, in his congratulatory message to the winners in the Nov. 3 election.
