Board To Hear Many Variance Requests

The Lower Township Zoning Board of Adjdstment is scheduled to hold a special meeting next Tuesday, Nov. 17 to hear eight applications originally scheduled for consideration during the hoard's regular monthly meeting Nov. 10. The board was scheduled last night to dwell bn the variance request for a rechange well and possible standpipe near the crest in the Diamond Beach Section. According to township planning official Feme Detwifer, the large number of variance applications coming before the board is. primarily due t^ the undersized lots created by the elimination of the ''grandfather clause"- in the township’s new zoning ordinance adopted June 22. Book Fair Nov. 16-20

CAPJ5 MAY - The Elementary School will sponsor a holiday book fair 8:30 a m —4 p.m. Monday. Nov. 16, through Friday, Nov. 20 in the school library. Additional hours will be until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov, 18, to accommodate working parents. Proceeds from the book fair will be used to purchase two cassette viewers for the school libraix Ms. Deborah Morrell, Librarian/Media teacher and parent, Libby Demp Forrest, are serving as book fqir cochairperson.
