A Farm for Abused & Neglected Animals

They care about what happens' 1o helpless creatures. Mrs. Kozak is one of those angels She and her children, Jake, 17, and Barbara, 20. care. But more importantly, they d9 something about

their caring.

Lucky. Pepsi. Chico and countless other animals -a the farm have been nursed back to health after beingTound or bought from ownfers who had abused

them.

Some people aren’t very kind to animals. They leave dogs tied’outside for days without food, water

Earth Angels are very nice people. They help other people care for animals and they giv^children a model of kindness to liveV The world needs to see kindness if it i$ to learn and understand it • It takes if lot of time and money to help animals Some people think^e Kozaks are foolish to use their resources helpThg abused animals But Lucky and other animals at Windswept Farm don’t agree

Since this year’s donations are down over lasA years, anyone wishing to donate money can drop by the firehouse. WOMEN’S^COMMUNITY CLUB OF CAPE MAY Two of the club’s departments are involved in special holiday activities this year. The American Home Life Department would appreciate donations

of home baked cookies which they will distribute to the patients at Crest Haven Nursing Home' Contact Olla Trucksess at 884-8219. Their Social Services Dept, needs special handmade items such as lap robes, slippers, shawls, etc. as well as small baskets of personal items like toothpaste, talcum powder and after shave lotion. These will be distributed to the Vineland School, Woodbine State School and Crest Haven Call Mildred Heller at 884-5182

WILDWOOD COMMUNITY SERVICE CENTER 115 West Davis Ave. Wildwood. N.J. 082(0. The Center serves all of the Wildwoods and is. a branch of the Cape Human Resources. They fix' Christmas dinner baskets and would appreciate donatibns of food. Toys and good» clothing would also be welcomed for distribution as Christmas gifts. Middle County

CAPE HUMAN RESOURCESWHITESBORO CENTER Middle Township Community Center E. Main St., Whitesboro Last year the center gave out 68 Christmas baskets and will do the same for this year. Donations of canned goods, perishable foods, clothes, money, toys and other household items can be brought to the center or call 465-4531 for pick-ups. These donations may also be made yearround.

STONE HARBOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE At the Chamber Christmas party on December 15, 1981 at the Wildwood Country Club, gifts ‘of under $5.00 are brought that have been wrapped and labeled “boy or girl” and age level. These are then turned over to Cape Human Resources for distribution. For anyone not attending the party who would like to donate a gift, it may be dropped off at the Seashore

Would also like to. have more people Join their volunteers on a year-round basis.
