Rape & Abuse Unit Expanding ' STONE HARBOR - The county Coalition Against Rape and Abuse is expanding its efforts to prevent rape and domestic abuse. As well as providing con* fidential emergency counseling and support services t<f victims,-CARA is / promoting prevention ofy crisis situations through' ■ education and counseling. Volunteers are needed for various jobs in prevention and'crisis counseling. Jobs range from several minutes a month to"several hours S week. The work can be performed in the home, the office, or the community. CARA AIMS to develop a program to take to the community and taking it Uk schools, police, medical centers, rescue squads and community organizations. Interested volunteers can call the Abuse Hotline, 522-6483 or by writing C.A.R.A., Box 72, Stone Harbor 08247.
