I had’ made a 'solemn pledge this season to stay away from talking too much about conservation, and perhaps I overdid it. My thought was that mgybe we had .all gone overboard too much on environmental issues, and I wanted to see what President Reagan s budget cutting would do to the many agencies that were supposed to be protecting us. I can now report to you,

He suggested I do a series oh light tackle fishing for record fish, and sent'me an article by Ben Callaway, who is now writing for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I’m gqing to follow that through, and also his suggestion on some how-to tales on salt water, bu' . right now the holiday spirit has started to take hold of my thoughts, and I’ve finally gotten the Christmas

spirit.
