Tourism Literature Wanted

‘Getaway Weekend’

COURT HOUSE - Literature is needed for distribution at travel shows being scheduled for 1982 by the County Public Affairs Department. Freeholder Anthony T. Catanoso. director of the department, said the county show schedule will include displays in Maryland, Massachusetts. New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia and Canada. The tentative show schedule will include abo6t 20 visits to major market areas for

county tourism. THE COUNTY booth will be in shoira with several million poumtial viewers. Each year, the Department of Public Affairs distributes literature for municipalities and private county businesses as well as local trade associations, motel and hotel groups, the Cape May County Campground Association and Chambers of Commerce. There is no charge for distribution of literature Supplies of material for show distribution may he

dropped off at the Public Affairs Office at the Cape May County Airport ; at the County Chamber of Commerce office on the Garden State Parkway, Court House; the Wildwood Information Center on the Boardwalk at Schellengcr Avd., and at Cape May City Hall LITERATURE MAY also he dropped off at the Ocean City Information Center on the causeway at 9th St., and at City Halls in Sea Isle City, Stone Harbor and Avalon. Literature taken to the drop points will be collected periodically by

the Public Affairs Department for show distribution. The 1982 show schedule opens Jan. 16-18 at Annapolis, Md. Other shows under consideration arc in Cincinnati, Ohio, New Castle. Del., MonroevillePittsburgh, Pa., Columbus. Ohio; Harrisburg, Pa., Pittsburgh. Pa., Suffern, N.Y., Allentown. Pa., Boxborough-Boston, Mass., Toronto and Montreal, Fairvicw Mali in Suburban Montreal, Buffalo. N.Y.. Greensburg, Pa.. Deptford Mall. Deptford, N.J., Concord Mall, Concord, Del., and Plrkersburg. W. Va.

•COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Recreation Department is sponsoring a "Getaway Winter Weekend" to the Catskill Mountains of New York Jan. 29-31. Hotel accommodations will be at the Stevensville Country Club. Swan Lake, N.Y. On the premises at Stevensville is an indoor sports complex featuring tennis, handball, squash, racquetball, swimming and saunas. Outside, there are innertubing, tobaggan

slide, snowmobiling, ice 'Skating, and more. Skiing ' will be done at Holiday and Hunter Mountains.
