His term of office won’t teptoe until Dec. 31 but he will r be away .for the holidays and the newlychosen mayor, Arden Hand, was set to chair the Dec. 29 meeting. During the meeting,' Ordinance 587 was that no living quarters shall be constructed on 96th St. between 2nd and 3rd Aves. None are to be built on 3rd Ave. on the east side between 94th and 99th Sts. and on the west side
between 94th and 96th Sts. On the northerly side of 96th St. no residential uses as living quarters in business uses win be permitted. AFTER ITS passage, Mayor Wood noted this was one of the most significant pieces of legislation that ♦his particular Council had effected. The mayor most reluctantly accepted the resignation of Joanne Hutchinson “the best tax collector anywhere," after 10 years of service with the borough, and presented her with a handsome certifieftte of award.

Robert Scott of the First Methodist Church of Avalon performed the ceremony. Mary Ann wore - a teal blue suit with a silk print blouse. WEDDING GUESTS were closest family members; . three daughters. Susan Doaatone. Sandy Gordhn, Kathy Klein Wiley and her husband Bruce; plus four grandchildren; Charles, John,'Leslie and Michelle. Mary Ann’s mother served as her matron of honor and Bruce was Gene's bestman. The newly weds plan to live in Cherry Hill ‘Agony And Ecstasy’ CAPE MAY - The second in the County Art League's winter series of film classics will be "The Agony and the Ecstasy" to be shown 8 p.m. Saturday at the Welcome Center. 405 Lafayette St. Charlton Heston has the starring role in this fulllength film on the life of Michelangelo.
