best sense of the word., Marion and Paul Scarlett had a jofnt Christmas Party with Alice and Tom Clydesdale at the Clydesdale's fascinating home in Cold Spring. Both Tom (mayor of Lower Twp.) and Alice are do-it-yourselfers and have made their home a real showpiece. This time their Clydesdale horses were seen romping through the

snow.

How they came to ac* quire the horses is a sentimental story in itself. The Clydesdale's were vacationing with their children here, by coincidence, there was a Budweisser convention. Tom saw the horses and said. "Boy, what 4 wouldn't give to have one of those horses!" Their son. Jimmy, said nothing, but he aru^his wife quietly went out arid bought the complete collection for their parents. Needless to say. these horses rm; one of Tom and Alice's most beloved possessions. We also had a chance to talk to their daughter. Joi. Joi is the manager of the candle shop at historic Cold Spring Village.
