Chamber Chairmen Named
*STONE HARBOR-The Chamber of Commerce, with newly elected president David Rosbow presiding, took steps to strengthen its operation by appointing cb-ehainhcn to all standing committees. Robert McCormick was appointed executive secretary, and Robert Wilson as ' program developer. Appointments include Lillian Doungherty and Gertrude Cerny as co chairmen of the Sick and Welfare committee; R. Jack Fitzpatrick and Harry Strohmetk will be in charge of ClVic Responsibility; Vihcent Egan and William Klotzbucher will chair the Ways and Means committee; James Fisher will represent the mer-
charta; Mrs. R. J. “Pat" Fitspatrick and James Ow : ings will chair the Membership committee; Publicity will be handled by Al Westhoff and Jerry Rowland; Special Events will have Glenn A. Towhley and James Owings as chairmen. THE NEWLY formed Welcoming Committee will be handled by Peggy Grimes and Dotty Stump. The promotion book will be In' the hands of Boyd Coughlin. In other matters the committee chairmen put together the 1982 budget that was to be presented to the general membership at the Jan. 18 meeting when featured speaker for the dinner was the new mayor, Arden W. Hand.

RIO GRANDE - Free income tax assistance will again be available this year foi 1 all persons with Income under $20,000, through the county Office on Aging at the Social Sor vices Building here. This service is funded by the U S. Internal Revenue Service, which provided training. Mr ami Mrs Walter Berryman are again coordinating the work'of the volunteer - lax counselor^.
