COURT HOUSE - Love and Romaiice *re the theme of the County Library’s "Everybody Loves a Lover Contest,’’ which begins Feb. 1 and ✓tnds with a drawing Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day. Open to all county residents, the contest gives six clues to famous historical loving couples. To give readers a head start, here are the six clues, l )An early American Princess who protected with her life an English captain and soldier of fortune; 2)What famous English poetic couple commited their love to sonnets? 3)A legendary love between a Russian ruler and
Queen Victoria’s granddaughter; 4) The King and Queen of Hollywood, who reigned over the Golden Era of Silent Film; 5) Love of this American girl shook the British monarchy; 6) A legendary 12th century French affair> between a classics scIQfcr •nd her tutor resulted in both being forced into religious
orders.
TO ENTER the contest, residents must use an official entry blank available at the County Library, any
of its branches (Avalon, Sea Isle or Stone Harbor) and Senior Citizen luncheon centers. Contestants may enter as often as they wish.using.the official entry blanks. Employees of the library and their immediate families are not
eligible.
