CAPE MAY Rescue Squad Auxiliary president Julie Cinder held her first executive board meeting at her Stimpson La. home where plans wer^dLscussed for the,coming season Present were Ann Dubin, Patriot Kellie and Dolly Stajrfo. /The next general meeting of the Auxiliary is Tuesday, Feb.. 9 in the fireball, and all members are urged to attend to finalize the proposed events and to have all give their suggestions too.

FEBRUARY is Heart month, and fund drive kickoff Was held at the National Associates office by president Charles Pessagno. who is County Chairman for the event. Cape May chairperson is Bea Lanjl. who will be sending her committee captains to bring literature, and to accept your donation for this worthy Cause.

TULIP FESTIVAL Commission is once again active and making, great plans for the upcoming ccllebration in April. Chairperson Carin Feddermann and co-worker Millie LaCanfora are going to make it a real *‘Dutch holiday" to honor the founder of Cape May,-Cpt. Cornelius Mey, and to also try to bring the many tourists at the time of the blooming of the 20,00 tulip bulbs which have been planted in and arbund the town. Dutch souvenirs and the rich chocolate are much in demand This will bd the second celebration, the first having been in September. Twp. Plans Band Honor

COURT HOUSE - The Middle Township Committee will honor the High School Marching Band 8 p.m. Thursday. Feb. 18 at the regularly scheduled

meeting.

The ceremonies are designed to recognize the accomplishments of the b#nd. Committeeman Michael J- Voll, who is sponsoring the resolution, said. including Grand ChhmpiOn of the Band Division for the last two years at the New Jersey Stale Firemen’s Parade, Chapter I Championst of the Tournament of Bands Association for three of the last four years, and is recognized as the most successful competition unit from the Cape-Curhberland region in the history of the Torunament of Bands. In addition, the Panthers have captured various other awards including being nairled 1st place winners at the International Niagara Falls Blossom Festival Parade in 1976.
