■Party Leader ’s Opinion; Don’t Serve If Can’t Cope

f Lower Township GOP leadfer Maurice Catarcio last week'called on the Township Committee to. consider asking for the resignstidhs of all local Planning Board members who .recently voted in favor of givipg the Diamond Beach area to Wildwood Crest. "We’re talking about $12 million in ratable^," he said, asserting that the Planning Board has offered no viable alternatives to coming up with the revenue that would be lost by such a move. --. “THEY [BOARD MEMBERS] say they are frustrated,” Mr. Catarcio told the Lantern. "People should be put on that can -handle the situation.” Many board members have become "dictatorial” in their positions and have “stymieddevelopment^ in the Diamond Beach area, he charged. The GOP leader made his remarks March 18 in reference to a non-binding vote taken at a planning session earlier this month. The vote called for the board to recommend to the Township Committee tha't it might be administratively feasible to annex Diamond Beach to Wildwood Crest. To become official, however, the motion — approved by five members of the board, with Obie Fowler and Egon

Weinrich abstaining and Steward Mteward Millard voting No — would have to be approved at an upcoming meeting. THE RECOMMENDATION was made after the board met with representatives from two of the Township’s three fire districts, the Wildwood Crest fire chief and assisstant chief, and the Township Committee to discuss concerns the firemen have with 85 ft. high.buildings in the Diamond Beach area. Board members Were frustrated and in disagreement among themselves over how to regulate fire prevention measures thni the zoning ordinance when the straw vote was taken. ,

CHIROPRACTIC FOR BETTER HEALTH

How can misalignment of spinal vertebrae result in pain in the legs? This occurs when one of the vertebrae of the lower spine is displaced and. is no longer, perfectly aligned with the adjacent vertebrae. The spinal nerves that provide feeling for the legs pass through tiny passages in the spinal vertebrae. Any displacement and resultant misalignment of the vertebrae can

cause compression, pinching and thus irritate the nerves. The pain that results is felt in the legs. Low back and leg pains respond well to chiropractic techniques, as thousands have discovered.
