A Double Nominee

college.

But Carrick has a few more options than ‘ most Jiigh Carrick school studen- ' ts. He has been nominated to theU.S. Military Academy by Sen. Harrison Williams, and to the ^ Air Force Academy by Rep. William Hughes. He has heenr accepted at West Point, He has also applied to Notre Dame and Drexel Universities, and has reached finalist level for Army, Navy, and AiT Force R.O.T.C: scholarships.

"THE FESTIVAL of Performing Arts is being held in lieu of the usual spring theater production at ACC," said Professor Sue Griffith, who is coordinating the eveht, 'JWe’re hoping this could be a yearly event in which all area performing artists . will have a forum, to get together to share'and learn.'' ^ On Thursday. A PERFORMANCE Happy Days by Beckett is scheduled for the -'after noon. That evenWg will feature a jaw concert with the ACC Jazz Ensemble -and jazz dance classes. Area high schools are invited to take part in ac-;
