ATLANTIC CITY - Guarantee Bank President and Chairman Joseph F. Bradway Jr. has appointed David W. Schmidt to the position of Vice President of Business Development.

In his position, Schmidt will direct all phases of business development activities throughout South Jersey and coordinate such activities throughout the bank's 26 branches. "With the continued growth of area businesses, it is essential that we offer a streamlined banking process to Schmidt our customers, and fast decisionmaking on banking matters. Mr.. Schmidt’s expertise in commercial banking will help us continue to fill those needs," Bradway said. Schmidt previously served as Vice President in charge of Casino Development for First National Bank of South Jersey, which he joined in April 1978. Prior to that, he was employed as Vice President for etpiitable Trust Bank in Baltimore Md. Born in Baltimore, Schmidt graduated from

Bob Jones University of Greenville, S.C., with a B.S. in Business Administration. He resides in Seaville with his wife Laura and their two children, Kevin, 6; and Melissa. 11.

Beach Tags Put On Sale STONE H>BBOR - Beach tags required of all adults using th« borough’s beach June 19-Sept. 11 may be purchased atrBoro Hall 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. They may also be purchased through the mail by sending a check or money order payable to the Borough of Stone Harbor in the exact amount for the number of badges desired. Badges will be reserved and held for pickup at buyers' convenience in the Beach Tag office in borough hall. The 1982 rates remain unchanged: Seasonal badges purchased on or before May 31, $4, after May 31, $6. Weekly badges good from Saturday through the following Saturday or fraction of the week cost $2. The Beach Tag office will be open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. seven days a week starting May 15.

On Sawyer Sales Force WILDWOOD - Bob Harvey has joined the growing sales force of Sawyer Electric and will complete training as a specialist in fire equipment and security systems. Harvey is a resident of the area and was, for 21 years, a representative of Burke Motors. Sawyer Security and Fire Equipment, a division of Sawyer Electric, offers equipment and service to meet the growing interest in fire protection equipment and alarm systems for residential, commercial and industrial use.
