No doubt the touch that made Rusty and Bronco instant hits will rocket Adventure Trails to success as well. . * * * A CALL TO bull riders of yesteryear and anyone who enjoys fine country and country rock sounds. North Wildwood’s Miss Kitty’s is getting the redeye ready for their May 7 opening. Host Tommy D’Archangclo says there’s lots of great country music in store for 1982 patrons. You might recall a long line of less than stellar operations at the Walnut & old New Jersey location, but none hold a candle to Miss Kitty metamorphosis of 1981. If great things are yet ot come, can ’82 be less outstanding?

OCR AREA made a clean sweep of official positions with the New Jersey Marine Dealers Association at their recent banquet at Harry’s Inn, Somers Point. Peter Clrrinlclone of Tony's Marine Supply, Schelienger Landing, is president. Ray Cresse of Wildwood Yacht Basin is vice president, and Renee Levin of Stone Harbor Yacht Corporation is secretary-treasurer. The

group is made of marine dealers in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties. WILDWOOD CREST’S Bill Bernardo, who recently retired as football coach at Northeast High, is tickled over the success of his ex-student, Bill Cosby. Cosby is set to receive the Barnwell Distinguished Service Award and an honorary degree from Central High. He’s a 1956 • graduate. Cosby, who once dickered to buy Diamond Beach Lodge from exPennsylvania State Senator Bob Gerhart, was a referee at the recent Penn Relays. He took part in the relays 20 years ago as a Temple Univ. entry in the 100-yard dash, high jump, discus, javelin and shotput events. Two other successful ex-students of Bill Bernardo are Chubby Checker and Lola Falana. He often hosts Checker on fishing trips out of the Wildwoods.
