SEA ISLE CITY - The United States Postal Service will join in the celebra tion of the Centennial of Sea Isle City by offering a special cancellation mark on all mail deposited in thecity Saturday, MAy 22, according to Postmaster

the official "kick-off” of a Summer-long Centennial Celebration in the resort. A Centennial Parade will be held on that date starting at 2 p.m. Postmaster Sweetman announced that there will be a special booth set up on

Landis Ave. to affix the special Centennial cancellation, in addition to all mail leaving the city on that date from the main Post Office building. "This one day commerative cancellation^ honoring Sea Isle City will

be a much sought after historical souvenir” resort Mayor Dominic D. Raffa said, "and on behalf of the city, I want to offer special thanks to the United State Postal Service and Postmaster Sweetman for making it possible."

OCEAN CITY - Pvt. Richard T. Coughlin, son of John and Victoria Coughlin of 14 E. 10th St., has completed basic training at Fort Benning, Ga. Coughlin is a 1980 graduate of Ocean City High School.
