Top Execs Re-elected SMITHVILLE - Atlantic Electric's Board of Directors appointed a new assistant vice-president at its organirational meeting held after the annual meeting of shareholders last Tuesday. The board also re-elected Alfred C. Linkletter as chairman of the hoard, and John D Feehan as president. The incumbent members of the board of directors were re-elected by the shareholders Meredith I. Harlacher was elected assistant vice president. Information Services. Harlacher joined Atlantic Electric in 1965 as a junior engineer and most recently served as manager of Information Services. A graduate of Drexel University with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Harlacher now resides with his family in Brigantine.

COURT HOUSE - The Board of Directors of the Cape Educational Fund has announced its first Grant Awards Program. According to board president Jack Bittner, the fund is* interested in receiving proposals from teachers for projects that will demonstrate creative and effective ways to meet student needs and increase motivation to learn. Presently, the fund is limiting grant proposals to $500 or under. Full-time New Jersey certificated teachers who are engaged in teaching activities in grades K-12 in the schools of Cape May County are eligible for funds under this program. PROPOSALS SHOULD have a timeline that does not exceed the 1982-83 school year. All proposals should be written in accordance with the fund’s "General Program Guidelines” and be sent directly to the fund's office. Bank Posts Shuffled HADDON TWP - Bank founder Williafh G. Rohrer, president of First Peoples Bank, has been succeeded as president by long-time Executive Vice President Mario Natale Jr.. Rohrer had held the post since 1956. He retains the title of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. He will share administrative responsibility with Natale, who was named Chief Operating Officer and Vice Chairman of the

Board.

Home Plumbing Course Slated For those who enjoy or are compelled into doing their own plumbing repairs, help is available. Dave Lofts, a local plumber with over 12 years in the trade, has started conducting Saturday morning classes. The course consists of five hourly lessons with actual practice using plumbing tools and fixtures, covering the basics. THE CLASSES take place in Lofts’ new retail store at 110 Park Blvd., West Cape May (next to Cape May Lumber), where a large selection of plumbing parts and fixtures is displayed for easy selection. “Doing it yourself is not only possible but fairly simple with a basic working knowledge of materials and tools.’’ Lofts said. There is a fee for the five lesson course and learners may enroll by calling 884-2268.
