Named To Zoning Brd.
VILLAS — The Lower Township Committee last week appointed local Realtor Carl DeMusz to a seat on the Zoning Board of Adjustment. The position became available following the resignation of board member John Koitsch of Erma. Mr. Koitsch, an electrical contractor, had served on the board since January 1981. International Post ] N. WILDWOOD - Ross R. Versaggi, city treasurer-comptroller, has been appointed state representative of. New Jersey to the International Assoc, of Municipal Finance Officers. He is a past president and member of the executive board of the state association. The post is for three years.

STONE HARBOR - Following a meeting of three councilmen and three officers of the Chamber of Commerce a set of rules and regulations were drawn up and Mayor and Council by a Unanimous vote reinstated the annual Merchants Day One DayFun Day Sale The new regulations include moving the Sale Day to the fourth Saturday of August instead of the third Saturday The Sale Daywill be on Saturday, Aug 28. Merchandise may be on the sidewalks between 9 a m. .and 5 p.m , with all displays back m the stores by 5 p.m. A CLEAR, unobstructed walking area must be maintained so that normal sidewalk traffic is not im peded. All displays are to be on the store side of the pavement. Tables are to be
dressed up and neat' and presentable. No merchan'dise is to be sold from any type of vehicle. No hawking will be permitted, and the use of megaphones or noise makers is prohibited. As in previous years each participant will receive a window placard and no store nrlt registered in the sale will be permitted to participate. CHAMBER OF Com merce president David Rossow and Merchants Committee Chairman James Fisher assured the council that the chamber will advise all merchants of the rules and will police the stores on the day of the sale. They also stated they would do everything possible to have merchants who close their stores for the winter to improve the looks, of their shops by dressing up the windows and doors
