WILDWOOD STRING Band members will make their first parade appearance in Sea Isle City for the 100th Anniversary celebration this Saturday. The band, fvith a charter dating bdck to 1921, already has 47 members. There will be a beef 'n beer benefit for the band at the Legion home 4 to 8 pm Sunday, June 13. During the summer, the band will move the Thurs- . day night practice sessions , from the Legion home to the Boardwalk band shell. Donations will be solicited during the Boardwalk concerts. City solons have no funds available to aid the band.

SY SYDOW who is well remembered as the longtime sauce chef at Urie's. is opening his own spot, the Harbbr House Coffee Shop at 2nd and .the Bay, Ocean City. Sy visits Wildwood often but now resides in Somers Point.

DAVID DANNEIIL was spotted dining at Nell's. He plays the role of Magildi in the long running Broadway hit, Evita. He often visits this area to see his aun^and uncle, Tony and Marge Jurvic of Town Bank. Dannehl, an actorsinger, al§o has a new Michelob tv commercial, and starred With Richard « Kiley in Man of LaMancha. THAT VERY fit gentleman often seen jogging in the lower end of the Crest is longtime colonist Pat Croce. Pat. is the physical therapist for the Flyers and spends every weekend and off-duty moment at his Crest home. The family loves the area so well that his son Joe John Croce, will wed Amy Jo Relsore at the Church of the Assumption on Saturday, June 12. The reception will follow at Enrico's

Happened to run into another area seafood crew enjoying their happy hour at Crest Tavern. They are the ones who dress and process the’ fish at Lund's Fisheries. This foursome who process up to 12,00 pounds of fish a week include forelady Carol Tidri, formerly of Manayunk, and Sarah Miller, Joan Collatoes and Nick Wallich.
