Time Out— Dining Guide HOLIDAY WEEKEND COMING UP! While it often seems that Memorial Day marks the beginning of summertime. it’s not so. This day is dedicated to the memory of all who died in war for the United Stales. There are usually plenty of backyard barbecues and outdoor events to enjoy during the final weekend of May. The flowers are blooming to give special tribute to the holiday, including of course, brillant poppies which symbolize this time. Lest you forget, next Tuesday is the beginning of a new month, as well. June is the favorite time for weddings, if you're thinking of whether to pop the question. (Time’s moving on, so better get along with it.) For many children, June’s about the best month of all, when schools close.
