a I' . l m, by Leslie steyson a Night 0 Probe O By Clive ('ussier A best seller in hardback and now in tpaperback NIGHT PROBE is a book which gives you your money’s worth. The hero of Raise The titanic, Dark Pitt, is back, and takes part in an ab sorbing adventure. This is an ingenious tale whch takes place in the near future. Two copies of a secret, important document written in 1914 are missing. Cmdr. Heidi Milligin, a Naval historian, has found clues to the existence of the documents, a fact which creates great interest in high government officials in the United States, utain and Canada. (INK COPY WAS aboard a sunken ship, on the bottom of the St, Lawrence River, the other aboard a tr»in, the Manhattan Limited, which crashed into the Hudson River In a race against lime to prevent the imminent collapse of the United States. Pitt once again comes to the rescue. This may be one of Cussler’s best. The author carries out in real life the adventures he writes about. He recently discovered a sister ship to the Monitor, and recovered artifacts from the Merrimac. He also led the team to salvage John Paul Jones ship, the Bonhomme Richard. Leslie Steyson is the pseudonym for a very real area bookstore owner.
