Another First For Wrestler

BAINBRIDGE. N Y. - Patrick Lynch, of Sea Isle City brought home a first

place trophy from the annual 20th General Clinton Canoe Regatta Wrestling Tournament held here recently. Patrick decisioned his first opponent 13-1 and downed his second man with a fall in 2:21 seconds to learn his goal. Patrick has earned 40 trophies, 42 medals, seven ribbons, and three wall plaques in his four years of wrestling. He finished his scholastic season with a 96-1-0 record. Patrick wrestled in the 85 lb. weight class.

Permits Needed For Fishing Boats Permits are needed by any vessel fishing for regulated species, which include mackerel and tuna, warns the National Marine Fisheries Service This includes charter and party boats and vessels which because of their gear take incidental catche/of such species. Currently regulated on the Atlantic Coast are groundfish, tuna, herring, squid, mackerel, butterfish, sea scallops, surf clams and ocean quahogs THERE IS NO FEE for the permit, which must be carried aboard the boat at all times and displayed for inspection. A fun run of ' two miles will take place at 9:30 am Last year 726 registered with 527 completing the course Tee-shirts are guaranteed to the first 1,000 registrants. THERE WILL BE awards in all categories and free refreshments compliments of Pabst and Kramer Beverages of Atlantic City. Sen. James Hurley expects to present the award to the first county resident to complete the Five-Mile Run, and the Cape May Point Civic Club will present a trophy to the first Point resident to finish.
